We’ve tried to cover all possible concerns surrounding your online coffee buying experience. If we haven’t please contact us, we’re here to help.

1. Are my details, including bank information, secure?

Yes, as secure as they can be. You do not even share these details with us, when your selections have been made and you select ‘view cart’ you are transferred to one of South Africa’s largest online payment gateways. If you would still prefer to pay via EFT please mail your order to us via the contact us page.

2. How is the coffee packed?

All our coffee is packed in foil lined valve-bags to seal in freshness. Smaller orders are then packed in padded envelopes and larger orders are boxed.

3. Do you supply ground coffee?

We do, but to be frank, we would prefer you to buy yourself a small grinder. Coffee does lose flavour once ground. We vacuum-pack our ground coffee which does help. If you are serious about coffee we encourage you to buy an adjustable burr grinder. Hunt around online, you’re sure to find one and will be very glad that you did.

4. How fresh is the coffee?

We literally roast to order. After a day for de-gassing, we pack and ship. Delivery will generally take two to seven days from placing your order, depending on the delivery method selected. Delivery to larger centres is usually a little faster than remote locations. Either way, your coffee will be very fresh, far fresher than anything you will find on a supermarket shelf.

5. How do you deliver?

At checkout you will select a delivery option which suits you. The slowest and cheapest option is the snail-mail at the Post Office. The next option is door to door. NB: (i) The larger your order, the cheaper the per kg shipping rate. (ii) please be very careful when entering your shipping address and try and select a destination where someone will be in attendance. Your place of work is often the best.

6. What does delivery cost?

The golden rule is that the faster the option, the higher the price. The other important point to note is that the lighter the parcel (EG: 1 x 250g), the higher the per gram cost. (i) If you choose the slower option of the Post Office, this will cost you R 30 for the first item and R 10 for each additional item up to the maximum flat rate of R50 irrespective of parcel size. For delivery to any PostNet branch for collection by the customer, this will cost R 110 for any shipment, any size, flat rate. For direct/door to door deliveries the charge is R 150 per shipment irrespective of size or destination.

Collections are free. Delivery to East London and surrounding areas is free of charge.

Join our coffee club and enjoy free shipping and many other advantages.

Please be advised that in the event of our distributors charging more than the prices quoted (for example to an unusual destination) we reserve the right to pass on this surcharge. We will however always notify you first and if this is not acceptable, we will refund you in full.

7. Can I send my order back?

We do accept returns of unopened, undamaged stock within fourteen days of delivery. Any product deemed to have a manufacturers fault may also be returned within 30 days and if this is found to be the case, we will give a full refund. We do insist that you first send us some photographs and details via email. Coffee is a perishable item and tastes do differ. We will not accept returns if you merely changed your mind or if our coffee wasn’t to your exact taste.

8. What is the warranty on coffee equipment?

All our equipment is guaranteed for the shorter of either 12 months or 5000 cups

9. How do I pay?

There are various options: (i) Via PayFast, our online secure payment option (ii) Mail your order to us at - we will send you an invoice and you can pay via EFT/Bank transfer.

10. Can you supply a VAT invoice?

Yes, we are a registered VAT vendor and will supply this on request.

11. I own a coffee business/Hotel, do I get any additional discounts?

We will gladly supply you with a quotation for ongoing supply of coffee and also discuss machine options such as our favorable coffee machine hire-to-buy program. Please contact us directly. To find out more about our coffee machine hire options please click here.
